Photos from Dakar
Today, for almost the first time since I left the US, I find myself having the magical combination of a computer, photos, a fast internet connection, and the actual inclination to spend an hour uploading a large number of photos. I’ll also do this for Burkina Faso when I get home, but in the meantime, enjoy.

hello! you don’t know me but my husband found your blog after we went to tanzania last october. we’ve been reading since then and absolutely love your posts. you are a great writer and provide a lot of wonderful insight. we were saddened to see about your medical evac but wanted to let you know that we are sending you positive thoughts from chicago and hope you recover soon! hopefully you find this note encouraging and not weird
